J.t at the front desk is by far the worst hotel employee I have ever met in a decade of hotel travel. Rude, condescending, and straight up interrupted me, hung up on me, treated me like a jerk. Titanium elite member, I always treat the workers like family because I know their job can be hard. But this hotel needs new staff unless you want to be treated like garbage stay elsewhere.

STAY AWAY! Does not live the standard of Mariott Hotels. When we arrived we were told our room was not available (despite a written confirmation we requested 24h prior arrival), so we got downgraded to a room with only one bed (for 2 adults and 2 kids!). Very very rude and incompetent manager, offering us to take the room he was offering us or to leave his hotel immediately(at 9pm with a child already sleeping in the lobby). They even told us they had better rooms but did not wanted to give it to us, despite being a gold elite member!!!!!! The worse is that they could not even offer a solution for our 2nd and 3rd night, we should just accept to be downgraded while we paid extra money for a room with 2 large beds!!! The staff at the reception was trying to help but could not help at all, living under the terror of the manager. Sorry but this is a NO GO! Jackie (the name of the manager) should be fired and should find another job, she does not care about her customers at all. AVOID THAT PLACE! Ps: location sucks in an industrial area, rooms equipements are average, low bed quality, old bathrooms.

Infested with fleas. I’ve spent hundreds of nights in hotels and this is the first time I’ve ever left a negative review in order to warn people. I checked into a room at this courtyard to find two spiders - one in the pillow and one on the wall. I asked to change rooms and discovered in my next room that there were fleas in the carpet! I ran barefoot into the lobby as they crawled up my ankles. The front desk clerk did nothing to help relocate me to another hotel. Even worse, I called Marriott and let them know about my experience. They failed to follow up with me. I called a week later and they told me the issue “was resolved” and that the manager of the hotel had “investigated the rooms and found no bugs.” Neither this hotel nor the marriott corporation bothers to follow up and resolve the situation. Atrocious customer service and shameful that Marriott treats loyal guests this way.

Property in very good condition off the beaten path

I’ve stayed with this place before, and I had a bad time with it which was never remedied. Normally I wouldn’t be back, but location pretty much required I use them. On this trip, so far, things have gone much better. The property is somewhat off the beaten path, but not far from a major highway. It looks good, and the facilities, furniture and fixtures were in good condition. Everything in the room was working as designed, and the beds and towels adequate. The employees don’t have name tags on, but I do want to compliment the African-American lady working deep nights on July 03 and 04. She went well beyond the call of duty to correct incompetent guest problems, and very promptly. From the customer side of the desk she is an outstanding performer and I was more than grateful for the professional help. I could only suggest that the brand’s choice to use a black colored key card is not the best, as they are easier to misplace. The pricing was very appealing for a holiday weekend, but it’s obvious there were not a lot of guests checked in. The elevator farthest from the desk makes some unsettling noises that are not reassuring to the guest. They don’t serve free breakfast, but they do have a bar open in the evenings, even though they don’t have enough customers to operate it profitably. I write a lot of reviews, and pay attention to details. I don’t find much wrong with this place. It’s not young, but it’s been kept fresh and appearing to be new. And, the traffic patterns around it are certainly easier to maneuver than some other brands just across the freeway. There was a tiny spec of mold in the tub area, but nothing to get excited about. The overall facility was very clean, including the common areas and my sleeping room. I can’t say much about housekeeping as I specifically asked them to pass me by, but SOMEBODY is going the extra mile to keep the place looking good. However, the pictures you see on Trip advisor look nothing like what’s actually inside – they are way out of date. I can recommend them for what they are, although I just don’t like the brand for non-hospitality reasons. I certainly got what I paid for, and there’s no complaint with that. I’ll probably be back someday, which remains to be seen.

I was there having some medical test run. The bed was hard like sleeping on a box spring. The front office manager Jacqueline charged me $299., for 1nt after I had originally booked at the medical rate. And she was rude asking me if I wanted to find another hotel as I was walking out the door heading to a doctor appointment.
